Nile Corniche – Bank HQ & Hotel

The project is situated along Cairo’s scenic Nile Corniche, overlooking the majestic Nile River. Designed as a landmark, it aims to establish a new business and commercial hub, serving as a catalyst for further redevelopment in the area.

A central roadway carefully oriented to divide the complex into two towers—one for offices and the other a hotel—linked at an upper level to frame westward views of the Giza Pyramids. The U-shaped base surrounds an urban plaza, housing retail space and a conference centre. This plaza integrates pedestrian and vehicular circulation across multiple levels, serving as a dynamic hub for office tenants, hotel guests, conference attendees, and shoppers.
Blending modern design with reimagined traditional elements, the project uses the latest technology to create an energy efficient and sustainable building.

Gregory Martínez de Riquelme led the project as the principal architect during his tenure at Gensler New York.
