The 5-star hotel rises 36 stories above the heart of the Times Square district – the epicentre of theatre, dining, media and business. It features 607 luxurious guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson River and Broadway.
The hotel’s exterior design reflects two distinct New York neighbourhoods: the Theatre District, represented by its towering section, and historic Clinton, echoed in the lower five-story plinth. Its facade features dynamic, jutting elements that create a striking silhouette to distinguish itself from the surrounding towers.
At the time of completion, this was the largest new-build hotel to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Gregory Martínez de Riquelme was the lead architect for this project during his tenure at Gensler New York.
