To celebrate its 80th anniversary (1945–2025), ELLE launched a global campaign titled “80 Years of ELLE: Celebrating Women in Art.” A travelling exhibition marked this milestone, but the centrepiece was a dedicated charity auction held at the prestigious Artcurial auction house in Paris, located at the historic Hôtel Marcel Dassault on the Champs-Élysées.
The event was more than a tribute to eight decades of style; it was a mission-driven initiative. All proceeds from the auction were donated to the NGO CARE, specifically earmarked to fund 2026 programs focused on women’s empowerment, health, and education worldwide.
The Collection: The auction featured 31 original artworks created by a collective of female artists from around the world. These artists were tasked with reinterpreting ELLE’s legacy of “fashion with intelligence” and its role as a voice for women’s freedom.
At ARQUINAUT, we are honoured to announce the acquisition of “Filiation I”, a powerful work by the artist Olga Yaméogo (@yameogoolga). Inspired by her own daughters, Yaméogo’s painting captures a modern, free-spirited femininity. Her technique, layering pigments, ink, and acrylic, reveals a profound contrast: a visual representation of both the strength and the softness that define the modern woman.
By bringing this piece into our collection, ARQUINAUT reinforces its commitment to supporting women’s voices and is honoured to stand alongside ELLE and CARE to help empower women worldwide.
